Clean hands vs Dirty Hands

Cleaning hands every time we need to handle food is important due to pathogenic bacteria that we collected every single time we touch surfaces. In many countries worldwide where personal hygiene is terrible, unwashed hands of a food handler have claimed many lives because these pathogenic bacteria got transferred onto the food and then enters the mouth.

Each year,1.5million children dies from diarrheal diseases because of improper personal hygiene.Hand washing can be started in the household by the parents. If parents lead by an example and educate their kids, their children will understand the need to wash their hands every time if they are going to eat or after using the toilet.

Hands need to be thoroughly scrubbed to degerm it.If it is not scrubbed properly, then there is no point of washing hands as the pathogens are not dislodged. If it is possible, use antiseptics to kill these pathogens or dislodge it as many as possible.

  1. I agree that due to poor personal hygiene, countries worldwide suffers high death rates because of foodborne illness.
I also agree that children can start learning to take care of their personal hygiene through parents. Parents can educate them to do simple things such as washing hands.
However, this post can be better if you include what type of pathogenic bacteria that can be found on hands. This is to make the post interesting to read. You can also expand your points on lives that has been claimed due to the irresponsible food handlers and such.
Overall, I think that this post is good. :)
